Riverford began in 1986, when Guy Singh-Watson started growing organic vegetables in a corner of his parents’ Devon farm and delivering them to local friends. Today, Riverford delivers around 70,000 organic veg boxes each week, working with organic growers across the UK while still operating from its original Devon farm. Riverford is committed to producing food with exceptional flavour and quality while reducing its environmental impact through initiatives such as electric van deliveries and creating habitats for wildlife. In 2018, Riverford became employee owned, helping to protect the company’s ethical values and long-term vision for the future.
