Susan Deacy

Susan Deacy is Professor Emerita of Roehampton University, Honorary Professor at Bristol University, Honorary Vistiting Fellow at Leicester University, and Associate Fellow of the Institute of Classical Studies in London. She won a National Teaching Fellowship in 2015 in recognition of the 'outstanding impact' of her practice. Her scholarship on ancient religion (especially gods), mythology and culture has been influential since the 1990s, and her recent publications include What Would Hercules Do? Lessons for Autistic Children Using Classical Myth (2023) and 'Down the sinkhole: the Lernean Hydra" in The Oxford Handbook of Monsters in Classical Myth (2024). Her forthcoming publications include the monograph A Traitor to her Sex? Athena the Trickster for Oxford University Press and Classical Mythology: A Textbook.

André Ducci

André Ducci is a Brazilian comic artist based in Italy, author of the books Fim do Mundo, Grande and Fanfare published in Brazil and Europe.
Hi sillustrations feature in the books Talking History, Great Minds and the Emmy winner PBS shorts "Cornerstones". 
He is now publishing the webcomic Red from the Black Woods.
