Peter Collins
Born in London, Peter Collins has been a motoring writer and photographer for more than fifteen years. He has a lifelong interest in motorsport and racing history, and has been attending events worldwide since 1965. Co-founder and now editor-at-large of magazine Auto Italia, he also contributes to other European and American publications and websites, and has recently become European editor of website Retrospeed. Peter lives in south London with his partner, Liz, and cat, Darcy. He travels extensively, covering motoring events of all disciplines and maintaining his close ties. His books include Alfa Romeo 155/156/147 Competition Touring Cars, Alfa Romeo Tipo 33, Lancia 037 and Lancia Delta Integrale.
Ed McDonough
Ed McDonough, an American based in Britain, has been in and around motor racing since the 1950s, starting in active competition in 1959 and still taking part in hillclimbs and sprints. He began writing about motorsport in the 1980s, contributing to several magazines. He has been a radio commentator at Goodwood and Monaco, and now works for Auto Tradition and RetroSpeed. He has written some 15 books in English, French and Portuguese, and as a member of the Guild of Motoring Writers has won several awards. He has established a reputation for testing rare racing machinery, including over 50 Grand Prix cars.
