Internship Opportunity

Summary: Our mission is to educate, entertain and enrich the lives of our readers, putting books in their hands, wherever, however and whenever they choose. Quarto creates more than 1,500 adult and children's books a year. These books are sold into 35 countries and in 25 languages. Subjects range from how to draw to rewiring your home and from electric pressure cooking to car engine repair.  We cover any subject that can be better explained with photographs and produce high-quality, illustrated books on everything from ayurvedic medicine to Led Zeppelin and container gardening to traveling Route 66. Put another way, we love making books and we love selling lots of them to readers who are as passionate about the subjects we publish as we are.

At the heart of our business is a belief in creative independence that enables us to produce books of an enduring nature that stand the test of time. They are produced in many ways by an ecosystem of our many authors, contributors, illustrators, photographers and artists. Created with a global customer in mind, our books sell far and wide through our network of international publisher partners. With our offices in the US and three offices based in the UK we are able to reach the world with our books. For the interesting story of our beginnings and growth, please see http://www.quartoknows.com/Corporate/Our-History/.

Quarto Publishing Group USA (QPG US or The Company), formed in 2004, creates and publishes books globally. QPG US is made up a collection of diverse and creatively independent imprints, including becker&meyer! books, becker&meyer! kids, Chartwell Books, Cool Springs Press, Crestline Books, Epic Ink, Fair Winds Press, The Harvard Common Press, Motorbooks, Quarry Books, Race Point Publishing, Rockport Publishers, Rock Point Gift & Stationery, Walter Foster Publishing, Walter Foster Jr., and Wellfleet Books.
