Emma Friedlander-Collins
Emma Friedlander-Collins has crocheted for over 20 years and authored six craft and crochet books. She’s written numerous papers including a recent one on wellness, crafting & hope, and has also featured in trade press.
She is passionate about human-nature connection and continually works to discover ways to use craft and making to create communities and inspire others. She also wrangles this into her other work as a content creator and lecturer in visual promotion where she teaches students the fine art of creating connected, visual stories at the University of Brighton.
Emma has been featured in Mollie Makes, Simply Crochet, Inside Crochet, Love Crochet and Crochet Now magazines, and has contributed to a number of other online and paper publications. She has also collaborated with the lovely people at Hobbycraft, Rowan Yarns, Hoooked, DMC and other scrummy yarn companies, and has had her yarn photography featured in a variety of publications from The Guardian to Lovecrochet.
