Melissa Hobson is a journalist specializing in ocean life with a mission to inspire people to love and protect the ocean. Her work has been published in National Geographic, Scientific American, The Guardian, and New Scientist, among many other outlets. She is a contributing author to the forthcoming title, The Ocean Book from DK in May 2025. She is also the author of the Quarto title, The Wonder of Seashells (April 2025).
