UK Key Account Executive

 

Quarto Publishing Group is a leading global publisher of award winning illustrated non-fiction adult and children's books.  We now have a rare and exciting opportunity for a highly motivated and sales driven individual, who is  passionate about both adult and children's books, to join our UK team for this central role within the department.

 

The successful candidate will be responsible for selling to a portfolio of  key Trade retail accounts in the UK.  They will need be confident in sales forecasting skills, be a  good negotiator, as well as being able to demonstrate commercial awareness and the ability to future-plan sales strategies for the different accounts they will manage.

 

A top communicator, with excellent organisation, written skills and the ability to work to deadlines, are all qualities we are looking for, whilst excellent IT skills are essential for this role.

 

Key responsibilies of this role are:

 

Leading sales meetings with retail customers

Being responsible for profit/loss strategies and sales targets for the allocated accounts

Utilise customer data and analytics to identify new profit opportunities

Supporting the Sales team in creating effective strategies to grow their book-buying customers
