Seven Quarto Kids titles selected for the Outstanding Science Trade Books for Students list

Seven Quarto Kids titles have been selected to appear on the Outstanding Science Trade Books for Students K-12  2019 list, a cooperative project of the National Science Teachers Association (NSTA) and the Children's Book Council (CBC)! 

The titles selected as outstanding children's science trade books were:

When the Whales Walked by Dougal Dixon, illustrated by Hannah Bailey (words & pictures)

Counting Birds by Heidi E. Stemple, illustrated by Clover Robin (Seagrass Press)

National Parks of the USA by Kate Siber, illustrated by Chris Turnham (Wide Eyed Editions)

Illumanatomy by Kate Davies, illustrated by Carnovsky (Wide Eyed Editions)

Sounds of nature: World of birds by Robert Frank Hunter (Wide Eyed Editions)

Perfectly Peculiar Plants by Chris Thorogood, illustrated by Catell Ronca (words & pictures)

The coral kingdom by Laura Knowles, illustrated by Jennie Webber (words & pictures)

In addition, Counting Birds by Heidi E. Stemple and illustrated by Clover Robin (Seagrass Press) has also been named to the Best STEM Trade Books 2019 list the NSTA and CBC!
