Frances Lincoln Children's Books' acclaimed series Little People, Big Dreams has just sold its millionth copy in the English Language worldwide!
The pioneering picture book biography series about the childhood of famous women was first published in the UK and US in March 2016, a few months before Rebel Girls. Written by Isabel Sánchez Vegara, with each book illustrated by a different artist, it has been highly acclaimed for its positive depiction of strong female icons for young readers.
The growth of the series is set to continue with this year's release of early reader board books, paper dolls, flash cards and STEM focussed box sets, as well as the addition of the first boys to the series coming in February 2019, growing the series to 32 titles by the end of 2019.
Series creator Sánchez Vegara had this to say on the landmark figure, "1 MILLION BOOKS, 1 MILLION DREAMERS! Thanks to all the little people who dream BIG."

The first boys in the series Stephen Hawking and Mohammed Ali will be published in February 2019, with 8 men and 8 new women coming at intervals throughout 2019.
