HR Officer

Working hours 

35 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 09.30 am to 5.30 pm We currently operate a discretionary hybrid model, with three days in our London office and two working from home.

 

About the role 

As HR Officer, you will support the team answering general HR queries, carrying out HR administration tasks, and providing expert advice on a wide range of HR matters.

 

What you will be involved in

 

  • Advising on key HR operational procedures and guiding managers on non-complex employee relations
  • Supporting employee life-cycle administration, drafting HR documentation and benefits administration
  • Preparing data for the monthly payroll and solving queries with our payroll provider
  • Helping maintain staff records
  • Managing and utilising our HRIS
  • Analysing HR data
  • Taking active part in HR projects and initiatives

About you

With 2 years’ HR experience under your belt, you will be skilled at drafting HR documentation, administering employee life cycle tasks, and providing guidance on HR operational procedures and basic ER matters. You will have payroll admin exposure and be a confident Excel user.

You will be able to show you can:

  • Deliver the highest standards of HR service
  • Advise management and staff with confidence
  • Problem solve independently using your HR knowledge
  • Multitask in a busy, open plan environment
  • Use your attention to detail to ensure data accuracy
  • Communicate proactively
