Martin Maudsley
Martin Maudsley is a professional storyteller and author based in Dorset, UK. He tells stories around the world in theaters, festivals, and schools, with a growing repertoire ranging from local legends and traditional folktales, to magical myths and epic sagas. He has a particular passion for stories that connect people and place. Martin’s 2022 book Telling the Seasons is a story-filled journey around the twelve months of the year, drawing on the changing patterns of nature and the rich tapestry of seasonal folklore.
Monsterlogica (Wide Eyed Editions, September 2026), a colorful guide to the mythology behind some the world’s most magical monsters, is Martin’s first children’s book.
