Stuart Codling
Stuart Codling is a respected motorsport journalist and broadcaster who covered sports car racing in the United States before joining F1 Racing, the world’s biggest-selling Formula 1 magazine, in 2001. He has appeared as an F1 expert on TV and radio, hosted for Renault F1, and contributes to F1 Racing, Autosport, Autocar, and the Red Bulletin. Codling is the author of several Motorbooks titles, including Formula 1 Drive to Survive The Unofficial Companion, Real Racers: Formula 1 Racing in the 1950s and 1960s, Art of the Formula 1 Race Car, Art of the Classic Sports Car, and The Life Monaco. Stuart lives in Farnham, Surrey, England.
James Roberts
For over 20 years, James Roberts has worked as a journalist and feature-writer in Formula 1. He started his career at the specialist weekly Motoring News, then joined the world’s best-selling Grand Prix magazine, F1 Racing, in 2007. After serving 13 years as Associate Editor, Roberts was appointed Editorial Director of The Official Formula 1 Magazine. After a brief period working on the official FIFA Qatar World Cup final program, Roberts is today a freelance F1 reporter who continues to travel to Grands Prix, contributing to various motor racing publications. He lives with his wife and three children on England’s south coast.
James Mann
James Mann (jamesmann.com) has been shooting cars and motorcycles for publications and the motor industry for over 30 years. His work has appeared in more than 70 books, including Motorbooks' Art of the Formula 1 Race Car, The Art of the Classic Sports Car, Art of Ducati, and Art of the Le Mans Race Car. James has provided photos for numerous magazines, including Classic and Sports Car, CAR, and Automobile magazine, and was chosen to photograph the Royal Mail's British Auto Legends stamps. He was recently awarded a Fellowship of the Royal Photographic Society. James resides in Dorset, UK.
